Salamanca and her grandparents are leaving from Euclid, Kentucky in order to trace the steps of Sal's long lost mother and trying to bring her back. They know she took a bus though many different states in order to get to Lewiston, Idaho. www.mikeadamsart.co.uk
Hurry, rush, rush, Sal's mind is telling her. She has to get to her mother before her birthday. She NEEDS to find her mother.The beautiful lake Erie is close and they have to take a dip. Gram wades in and then BAM! She's just been bitten by snake. They rush to a hospital. i.ytimg.com
Gram recovers quickly so they are on their way to Lewiston very soon. In the last 100 mile stretch Gram looks a little gray. As they bring her to the Coure De'Alean hospital they realize she has died of stroke. Nothing can stop Sal from reaching her mother and so she grabs Gramps keys and runs! images.bwwstatic.com
Gramps has taught Sal to drive so she takes the last 50 miles to drive to Lewiston. She gets caught by the sheriff and he leads her to her mothers grave and tells her the story of the bus accident off the road. i.ytimg.com
Gramps and Sal make their way slowly back through the places her mother went and right into Euclid again. The ride wasn't as exciting and it went by pretty slow but all Sal thought about was her mother. All the feelings swept over her and she started to cry. www.googlelittrips.com
